Don aged 93 years, died peacefully on 19th November surrounded by his loving wife Sheila and family. He was a doting Dad, Grandad and Great-Grandad and will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

Funeral service to take place on Friday 6th December at 11.30am in Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, then everyone is kindly invited afterwards to The Big Club, Newton Aycliffe. Don spent his life dedicated to football, so if possible, could you wear a football shirt, any team welcome. Donations in lieu of flowers would be much appreciated in aid of Newton Aycliffe Youth Football Club. Donations can be made online below or a donation box will be available on leaving the crematorium or at The Big Club.
